What is PPPoker?
PPPoker is a poker client with no house table and no platform wallet. Instead of seating you in a shared public lobby the way PokerStars or GGPoker does, it puts you inside a private «club» that another player created and runs, and that club's owner, through an agent, is the one who takes your deposit, sets the rake, and pays you out.

The short version
PPPoker (live since 2017, heaviest usage across China, Southeast Asia, the CIS, and parts of Latin America) is an app you download, but the app itself does not run a poker room. It runs the table software and the hand engine. Everything that makes a room a room (who can sit down, what the rake is, whether your win becomes real money) is decided by whichever club you join, and clubs are run by ordinary players acting as owners and agents, not by PPPoker staff.
On PokerStars, the platform is your counterparty. On PPPoker, another person is your counterparty, and the platform is mostly a neutral hand-dealing service that takes a small fee per hand played.
How a club works
The club has three roles, none filled by PPPoker itself:
- The owner creates the club, sets the rake (commonly 4–6%, table by table), sets buy-in limits, and can ban anyone.
- The agent (sometimes the same person as the owner, sometimes several people per club) sells you chips for cash or bank transfer, and buys them back the same way when you cash out. There is no in-app «withdraw» button that touches a bank account; every dollar moves through this person.
- The player joins with an invite code or promo code, buys chips from an agent, and plays. There is no platform-side wallet at any point in that chain.

Why there is no public lobby
You cannot open PPPoker and browse a list of tables the way you can on a regulated site. There is no such list. Every club runs on an invite (a code from a friend, a promo code an agent posted in a Telegram group, or a link from the club's own marketing). The absence of a public lobby is deliberate, not a missing feature. It lets PPPoker describe itself as a private social app rather than an operator of public real-money games. Getting started
The app is on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store under PPPoker's own listing. That is the version to install. There is no reason to sideload an APK from a third-party site for the base app, and most sites offering a modified installer are distributing something other than PPPoker. Installing the app alone does not give you access to a club. You still need a club ID or invite from someone already running or playing in one. In practice, that means finding an agent through a personal referral or a club's own promotion.
